Online or offline - one passion & one team...

British Cycling Go-Ride Surrey League Cyclists Touring Club Cycling Time Trials Facebook
i-Team : The Internet Cyclists' Club
i-Team Main Sponsor : InTandem Systems

i-Team (the Internet Team) is a non-commercial cycling club organisation, that started with 10 members from the Portsmouth Area in 2003. Membership now includes around 200 cyclists throughout the U. K. and Worldwide.

i-Team's mission is to offer an accessible and friendly gateway into the world of club cycling and by pooling knowledge, information & resources, help members progress their cycling as far as they want to go.

How can we help you today?

N.B. This website is in the process of being revamped

NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON!

i-Team Sponsor : Cycleworld.co.uk
i-Team Sponsor : Quality Carpentry & Joinery

i-Team doesn't care what bike you ride, or how fast you can go - all we ask is that you share our passion for the sport cycling...

Race with i-Team

Do you want to race? - i-Team supports you, from preparing for and riding your first race, to your first win, to your first elite racing license or national championship. Want help getting on to British Cycling's Talent Team or Olympic Development Plan? - i-Team members have already been there and done it...

Ride sportives with i-Team
Do you need a new challenge? - why not join some of our members preparing for U. K. and continental sportive events like the Etape du Tour, Gran Fondo Sportful - or how about Land's End to John O'Groats in 6 days this summer?
Start with i-Team
Are you new to cycling ? - a warm welcome awaits all new comers. We all had to start somewhere and we remember what it was like trying to get to grips with the jargon, equipment choices and how to train. We learnt the hard way so that you don't have to...
Combine with i-Team
Are you thinking of starting a new club? - making things a bit more structured & seeing your group develop can be very rewarding - it also takes a lot of time and it can be a lot of hassle. Another option is to start your own semi-autonomous 'hub' & let i-Team take care of all affiliations, club jersey, website etc. - allowing you to just get on with your cycling...
Like most bike clubs, i-Team is affiliated to National Governing Bodies & Regional Associations, such as British Cycling, Cycling Time Trials, Cyclist's Touring Club & other local organisations, such as Surrey League - so you can represent your team in rides and races anywhere in the United Kingdom, or The World for that matter - if you need it, i-Team will affiliate to it.

Unlike some bike clubs, we don't just talk about doing something - we do it. From crazy ideas like roller blading up Mont Ventoux, to finishing a team of over 20 riders in the Etape du Tour, winning 2 National Championships, getting 9 youth & junior riders selected for British Cycling Talent Team & 2 Juniors riders placed on the Olympic Development Team. Plus i-Team was one of the first clubs to be awarded Go-Ride Status and we have 5 British Cycling Coaches and a Sports Scientist - i-Team members have achieved more for their club in the last 6 years than some do in a lifetime.
Whatever your ability, be it a complete beginner, or National Champion, all i-Team members can benefit either directly, or by association with the successes of their other team mates. The more success a club has - the more information there is to be shared.
With i-Team, what you see is what you get - and every member receives the same standard of support - see what they say in our testimonials section. Perhaps i-Team President, Rob Hayles sums up i-Team best, (in his typically no-nonsense style,) "I like original ideas and i-Team is a unique concept, that works for a hell of a lot of cyclists."
